Tall Stories, creators of The Gruffalo and Room on the Broom stage shows, are proud to present their latest exciting collaboration with Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler.

A tiny snail longs to see the world, so she hitches a lift on the tail of a humpback whale. But when the whale gets beached, how will the tiny snail save him? Follow the tiny snail’s amazing journey, as seen through the eyes of a very adventurous young girl, who’d love to be going round the world with her seafaring father…

Storytelling, live music and lots of laughs for the whole family.

2. An Afternoon With Sir Roger Moore – Sun 3 November

The legendary film star chats with biographer Gareth Owen about his astonishing life and career. Featuring inside stories and exclusive anecdotes from an extraordinary career that has included the iconic TV series The Saint and The Persuaders, plus Hollywood blockbusters and, of course, the James Bond films.

There will also be a unique opportunity to put your questions to the Hollywood legend at the end of the show.

3. Sandi Toksvig – Sun 3 November 

Sandi Toksvig – comedian, novelist, actor, broadcaster, university chancellor, show-off and international treasure, continues her smash-hit, sell-out solo tour.

Long-standing host of Radio Four’s News Quiz and Excess Baggage and regular Q.I. panellist, Sandi will be performing her uniquely witty evening of stand-up, stories and fascinating facts.

Stick around and after the show – Sandi will be signing copies of her novel Valentine Grey (Virago).
