2. Alison Goldfrapp: Performer as Curator – All weekend

We are delighted to announce that, following their critically acclaimed European tour, Goldfrapp will be coming to The Lowry in March 2014. Tickets go onsale today and can be purchased here.

Get in the mood for what promises to be an unforgettable event (The Guardian hailed their recent performance as ‘majestic’) by visiting Alison Goldfrapp – Performer as Curator. The exhibition offers a rare opportunity to explore some of the singer’s personal inspirations through the painters, film makers, illustrators and photographers who have shaped her own inimitable artistic vision.

3. The Lookout – All weekend

Kids in Museums says that The Lowry delivers ‘a whopping amount of family friendliness’ and it’s even better now as we open our new family activity gallery, The Lookout.

There’s a dedicated space for under 5s to curl up with a book or play some games, and older children can be inspired by the glorious views of the Quays to test their drawings skills.

With the work of LS Lowry only a few steps away, friendly staff always ready to help, a great café and shop, and of course, regular family productions in our theatres, The Lowry is an ideal place for a few hours fun.

Gallery Opening Times
Sat: 10am – 5pm
Sun: 11am – 5pm
